Brief introduction of research collaboration

Our university proposes following types of research collaboration to private enterprises in Japan ; cooperative research, high-technology training and technological consultation, etc.

[Cooperative research]

(Restricted to the enterprises acting in Japan)

Staffs of our university and researchers in the enterprise promote a research on the equal partnership.
Patents as a product of this cooperative research will be applied by a collaboration of both our staffs and the enterprise.
Necessary fee are divided into 3 ranks according to an expense directly borne by the enterprise.

[Entrusted research]

Staffs of our university promotes their own research activity by the expense born by the entrusted enterprise as the entruster. The product of the research will be reported to the entruster.
This product will be deemed to be made public, and the entruster will have the right of execution of the produced patents.

[Donation]

Donation of currency or securities by a private enterprises.
This donation will be applied to the expense needed to our excitation of education and research.

[Entrusted researcher policy]

Intended to enrich capability of engineers and researchers of private enterprises by sharing advanced research of the graduate schools of our university.
Research fee is as follows:
1. A short term program (not more than 6 months): Yen 258,000
2. A long term program (6 months to 1 year): Yen 516,000

[High-technology training]

Our guest professors and other lecturer will make well-timed contemporary lectures.

[Technological consultations]

According to various technical needs coming from enterprises, we will introduce suitable staffs of our university.
