THE ASSOCIATION OF THE COOPERATIVE RESEARCH CENTER OKAYAMA UNIVERSITY

[Background for the foundation]
We, the Cooperative Research Center of Okayama University hope, as a
contact window between regional enterprises and Okayama University, that
cooperative researches and research coordination initiated by our center
should be made more active.
In addition, activities that match to needs of each own enterprise, for
example, the utilization of a function originated by our university such
as a research ability in a creative technological development resulting in
cooperative research, is considered to become more important.
As a system to organize and promote <inter industrial-academic>
cooperative formation, THE ASSOCIATION OF THE COOPERATIVE RESEARCH CENTER
OF OKAYAMA UNIVERSITY was founded with supports by Okayama Prefecture, Okayama
City, and economic and industrial society of Okayama in autumn 1998.

In order to establish a mechanism to carry out the above purpose with
technological and human exchange under close relation among member the enterprises
and our university arrangements of technological consultation, following
activities have been started, in addition to foregoing activities such as
supports for lectures and seminars.
- Exclusive meetings between single enterprises and the
staff of our university
- Meeting between regional enterprises and large enterprises
that come to Okayama
- Exchanging young researchers among enterprises
By planning and executing support from a fresh viewpoint, our association
is intending excitation and elevation of more regional industries. Your kind
understanding and participation will highly be appreciated.
